GTT 3rd Dhaka Metropolitan Inter School & College Table Tennis Competition- Sept 2023
Third GTT Dhaka Metropolitan Inter School & College Table Tennis Competition-2023, took place at our very own premises on 19-September 2023. Children numbering 110, from 20 schools participated in the tournament.
In Sub-junior group Singles category (class 1 to class IV) Boys: Champion: Projonmo (Udayan Uchcha Madhyamik Bidyalaya) Runner-up: Zayeen (University Laboratory School & College)
Sub-junior group Singles Category (class 1 to class IV) Girls: Srijita and Ayushi Champion & Runner up from Delhi Public School Dhaka (DPS).
Junior Group Singles Category (class V to class VIII) Boys: Champion: Prithibi & Runner-up: Abir of Lalbagh Govt. Model School & College
Junior Group Singles Category (class V to class VIII) Girls: Champion: Wafa (Sunnydale) Runner up: Zara (Shaheed Bir Uttam Lt Anwar Girls’ School & College)
Senior Group Singles Category (class IX to class XII) Boys: Champion Talha and Runner up Saad from St. Gregory’s High School & College
Senior Group Singles Category (class IX to class XII) Girls: Champion Razanna and Runner up Nazifa of Delhi Public School Dhaka (DPS).
Teams (Boys):Champion: St. Gregory’s High School & College Runner up: St. Joseph Higher Secondary School and College
Teams (Girls):Champion: Delhi Public School Dhaka (DPS). Runner up: Sunnydale
Al-Maruf Anayet Hossain, ex TT national player gave away the prizes. GTT extends heartfelt thanks to all the schools, their respective teachers and parents for their active participation in the tournament and supporting GTT. Also acknowledges the umpires and specially Gautom Das for his passion for TT, enthusiasm and hard work in arranging the whole tournament.
