National Table Tennis Tournament, April 2019
The 38th National Senior Table Tennis Championship, just concluded yesterday 11th April 2019. Started on 6th April 2019, at the wooden floor of Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Table Tennis Gymnasium, the tournament was eventful.
In Men’s Singles event Mohtasin Ahmed Ridoy of Rangpur defeated former champion Manosh Chowdhury in 4 – 3 sets.
In Women’s Singles category Moumita Alam Rumi of Bangladesh Ansar defeated Saleha Parveen Shetu of Bangladesh Army in 4 – 3 sets.
In women’s doubles event Moumita Alam Rumi – Sonom Sultana Shoma from Bangladesh Ansar won by beating Saleha Parveen Shetu – Mahi of Bangladesh Army in straight sets.
In women’s teams event Bangladesh Army became champion against Bangladesh Ansar.
